COMMUNITY DAYS

I had the pleasure of participating in Community Days with the help of three of my six children. My second oldest son and his two sisters helped me set up my campaign table, before eagerly disappearing to enjoy the festivities.

I want to commend the Maidencreek Township Parks and Recreation Board, as well as our Township Manager, for a job well done. The amount of dedication, organization, planning and hard work showed through and through. This was a worthwhile community event with everybody in mind. The weather was absolutely perfect. There was the car show, live music, free rides and crafts for the children, great cooking with tasty food and of course, the best part was You, our friends and neighbors.

Since meeting many of you for the first time this past Saturday, I want to thank you for visiting my website and sending me your encouraging e-mails. I do appreciate your support. Remember that every vote counts, so encourage your friends and neighbors to get out and vote on November 6th for Joe Rudderow, Township Supervisor. Together we can make a difference.

My Thoughts on the Primary Election

The most important element in our political process is the willingness of our citizens to rise to the occasion of running for elected Office. When citizens choose to run for office, the political system is hard at work. Each candidate brings forth a variety of ideas and points of view, some which are mutually held, while others are not. The candidates offer the people a choice. This choice will be the voice, as well as the representation of the people in their Government. When elected officials run un-opposed the system is not hard at work. There is no choice for the people.

I was happy to see that there were two Democratic candidates in this primary because this offered their party a choice. I was surprised to find myself the lone republican willing to seek the elected office of Township Supervisor. The beauty of this process is that once again the People will ultimately decide who their next elected Township Supervisor will be on November 6, 2007. So once again, the system is hard at work.

I want to wish my opponent, Incumbent Bob Kopfer, the best of luck. Bob and his family are nice folks. They are hard working farmers and longtime residents of Maidencreek. Farming is a physical and tough way of life. I gained my respect of farming as a boy helping out in the summers on my Grandfather's truck farm in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey.

In closing, I would like to ask each and every voter of Maidencreek to elect their next Township Supervisor based on the truth and merit of each candidate, not based on some distorted or twisted misrepresentation of the facts, by a few who are only concerned with protecting their own interest and not the interest of the residents of Maidencreek.

Candidate For Township Supervisor

I want to thank all of you who voted for me in my past campaign effort. Your support of me as the 2005 write-in candidate provided me with inspiration and determination to run for Township Supervisor again. We have a solid foundation and I look forward to your continued support to ensure my success during this election.

I look forward to meeting all Maidencreek residents- old and new- so you can get to know me, as I ask you to consider me as one of your Township Supervisors.

I believe that our local government needs to be attentive to the interests of all residents. Your representation in your local Government must always come first. I also believe that our Local Government Officials need to be good stewards and honorable ambassadors on behalf of the residents of the township. I believe that by encouraging sound fiscal policies as well as cultivating healthy discussions between residents and other agencies will help foster invaluable relationships needed to accomplish the desires of the residents.
